This is a little different. I sigend up tp receive an Influenster VOXBOX and got the colgate slimsoft tooth brush, Colgate toothpaste and Colgate mouthwash.
I received these free to review.
First off, a pic. I did not take a before and after of my teeth because, well, they are teeth, and it's not like you can tell how clean they are... besides...GROSS!!!! ;)
This is what I received.
First off...not just because it was free, but this is about the best toothbrush I have ever used. When I first opened it, the bristles looked weird, but that big 17x on the package explained the the bristles are 17x smaller than a regular sized bristle... and I've given the word bristle no meaning. it sounds funny now...Anywho, I am sure that is the "slim" aspect of it. I prefer a med brush for the bristles, and I was thinking there is NO WAY I will like this brush...I was wrong. The handle is nice and trim with a little bit of rubber for a no slip grip. It is for all intents and purposes a plain jane run of the mill toothbrush with a hidden secret. Those bristles...
After using it for 3 days, my teeth were so clean, THEY SQUEAKED.
You read that right,
THEY SQUEAK when I brush them.
It might just be a weird material, but they don't feel like a strange material. I giggle every time I brush my teeth because they freaking squeak!!!
The toothpaste tastes pretty awesome, nice and minty (which I love a nice good mint.) To be honest, I didn't notice my teeth any whiter.
The mouthwash was kinda amazing, and I've bought more since this is such a tiny bottle. And full disclosure, I've bought this mouthwash before...Still love it. It is not alcoholly and stingy.
In short, when I need a new toothbrush or need more mouthwash, I will be purchasing the colgate Slimsoft toothbrush and the Colgate total mouthwash.
I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Thread Mani
I painted Zoya Roxy then accented with Zoya PixieDust Dahlia then while it was still wet I took thread and laid an x pattern on it.
I need to do a full mani like this, not just an accent. It was pretty awesome.

Zoya nail art
This one was one of my favorites. It is Zoya Rikki with Yana and Darcy dots.
If I would have thought about it, I would have put smaller dots and more of them.

dotting tool art
So this is something new I've been playing with. It's lots and LOTS of dotting with a dotting tool.
I guess you could say it's a bit of a free hand marble?
I don't know how to describe it.
The colors I used are China Glaze Grape, First class Ticket, and GOSH Golden Bronze.

(If you click Zoya PixieDust anywhere in this post, it will take you to the Zoya Pixiedust page, you know, just in case you want to order some. :D)

I am a HUGE fan of textured polishes. Especially the Zoya PixieDusts.
Lets see how Zoya describes them.

My initial reaction of the bottles was OMG, I LOVE THEM ALL!!!! I especially love love LOVED Tomoko and Carter In the bottle. I had such high hopes.
First off, you know I don't do swatches. That is not what I've ever done. There are many great swatches out there Harri at Trailerhood Chic has some AMAZING ones. Check hers out!!! I just don't feel I can do swatching very well. Of course I did nail art. :D
Ok, on to my review:
The final texture on all of them were just as I expected, with the exception of Carter. It was a little softer than the others. It was more of a concrete finish than sandy, but still lovely.
Formula and coverage: The formula was great on all of them was great, AGAIN, except for Carter. It was thick but workable. Chita, Sunshine, Arabella, and Dhara were all one coaters. Tomoko took 2, and Carter took 3 for full coverage which was odd because it was definitely the thickest of all of them. The second time I used it, i had to put thinner in it. I'm wondering if I got a bad bottle. I am disappointed in Carter. All the rest were exceptional. *****EDIT: I've used Carter several times since I've thinned it. The finished texture is better (more sandlike) and the polish is a LOT easier to work with. However, I still don't have the coverage I would like. I wanted so bad for it to be a one coater.*****
Zoya always wears exceptionally long on me. It always lasts at least 5 days (that is as long as i can stand the same mani) These were no exception. I skittled and wore them for 5 days with very minimal tip wear.
My favorite of the entire set Tomoko. It is beautiful. it's silvery, it's hard to photograph, it's wonderful.
Ok, thats my review, lets get on to some pics. Thats what you came for!!!
Carter (pre thinned, you can see it's not as sandy as the others. I should have taken a picture of it up against the others.) stamped with Konad Special White and freehanded Zoya Posh hearts
Same mani as above but topcoated. This one I was torn on, it was one of those manis that didn't turn out the way I wanted to, it wasn't BAD, but just didn't turn out how I wanted it to.
I LOVE doing different textured manis. They are so much fun! This one is Zoya Dovima and Tomoko
A skittled french. Ignore the ding, please. Stuff happens. :( My nails are in horrible shape. I went tubing and broke a couple. :(
Tomoko stamped with Sunshine and Arabella
Again, different textures. This one was one of my favorite. Gemma taped off with Arabella.
Sponged Gradient with Carter (thinned), Arabella, Dhara, and Tomoko.
Dottycure with random white, Carter (thinned), Arabella, and Dhara
I made these "Stamped decals" with Dhara and Chita. Basically I picked up the image, left it on the stamp, colored it in, topcoated over it, waited for it to dry, carefully peeled it off put it on damp polish, sealed it down with Seche Vite. I have been waiting for winter ever since I've learned this process...think of the sparkly snowmen!!!!! :D
Over all, I am really happy with the Zoya PixieDusts. Carter is a pain, but workable. The color is amazing, so I can put up with a wonky formula for a beautiful color.
Purchasing Information:
Zoya Nail Polish $9.00 ea. (US)

Again, I received these polishes for my unbiased opinion.

More PixieDust nail art (review)
I got my summer Zoya PixieDusts to review!!! I am so excited!
These are about the same as the last review with just a few exceptions.
Application was the same except MOST of these were 1 coat coverage. JUST one coat!!! I did 2 anyway because just one coat of polish feels wierd to me. The only one that NEEDED 2 coats was Stevie. (the purple) Liberty looked better with a second coat, also, but it wasn't a necessity. I only did quick swatches because EVERYONE does swatches. Removal was the same. As with the others, the PixieDusts are $9 but they are so much more than worth it. I love them so much.
The colors are pretty awesome.
Solange is a beautiful golden shade.
Beatrix is a vivid orange
Destiny is a coral-ly red
Miranda is a pinkish red
Stevie is a lovely shade of lilac with SILVER sparkles
Liberty is such a bright brilliant blue
Liberty is my favorite followed by Stevie and Miranda.
Enough with the talk, on to the pictures!!!!
Index-pinkie
Miranda, Destiny, Beatrix, Solange
Stevie
Liberty...OMG, This is my favorite! my absolute favorite!!!
Aaaaaaaaaand a little nail art.
This is Destiny, Beatrix, and Solange sponged
This is Miranda, Stevie, and Liberty.
I was a little disappointed that there were 2 "reds" included when I kinda wanted a limish green. Vespa was included in the Winter release, but I want something a little yellower, not so pastel. maybe next set, Zoya? ;)
run on over to Zoya.com and make your order for all the pixiedusts NOW!!!!
I recieved thes polishes for my honest review.

Zoya Sponging!
I loved how this turned out so much I did all 10 fingers. :D
I got the idea after seeing a pink and black eyeshadow look in one of my make up groups.
This is Rory and I sponged Kimber, Carly, and Ibiza over it.

I am totally looking forward to the summer ones. Speaking of, want a preview of the summer pixie dust release? ok, you talked me into it. :D
Click to make it big. It's worth it!!!

Oooh, Pixie Dust NAIL ART!!!
Well, Hello!!!
So I was super DUPER excited when I received Pixie Dust to review.
Everyone does swatches, I wanna do Nail ART!!!
First my review. These polishes were SOOOOOO much easier to work with than I thought they would be. They were thin and needed build up, but man, are they ever worth it. The first one I slapped on immediately was Dahlia.
Application: I put on a base coat even though they say not to use one. (Yeah, I'm a rebel...) I did 2 medium coats. They went on like a creme. There was virtually NO dragging, and I did the second coat while the first coat was still semi wet. I DID NOT top coat because I wanted to see how long I could go without the texture driving me nuts. Dry time was SSSSLLLLOOOOWWWW. Only because I use Seche and used to every mani being and being done in 10 minutes. Ten minutes later things were still kinda smooshy. I used it as an excuse to sit and do nothing. "Nope, sorry, I can't, my nails are still wet!!!" ;-)
Review: I wore it for a full WEEK before I experienced minimal tip wear. Suprisingly, it didn't AT ALL. After I took Dahlia off, I put on Chyna. It also lasted a full week before I experienced minimal tipwear. (again with basecoat and 2 medium coats of polish.)
Removal: It was acutally relatively painless also. Easier to get off than glitter but harder than say just a regular creme polish. The process I found to work the best was to wet the cotton ball put on for about a minute with firm pressure pull off. It all came off in one stroke (except for minimal leftovers around the cuticle.)
Ok, enough of the talky talky, on to the pretty!!!!!
(Pardon the close cropped pics, my cuticles have been awful lately. :-( )
First off Godiva with Dahlia dotted on.
Vespa with a nice line of Ibiza. I LOVED the contrast of the rough/shiny textures!!!
Have YOU tried the Pixie Dust Craze? What do you think of them?
