Another late 4th of July post.

Sorry.
These are the same colors as the last Orly Au Champagne, China Glaze Ruby Deer, and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri In A Blink Blue

I should have done the sugar spun on all the nails...but I like the mix with the dots.

Thanks for reading!!!

Memorial Day Mani

So I know it's monday, and supposed to be Monkey See/Monkey Do, but I'd rather do a memorial Day mani.

This is Ogre The Top Blue and Sally Hansen Cherry Red watercolored over Lavender Cloud.

Sally Hansen nail strips

Since I have been uninspired, I was going to use the incoco strips I got, but I found some Sally Hansen Nail Strips in wild child I forgot I had. (I actually have several different sets of all different kinds of nail strips, I don't know why, I change my polish daily, and the strips just seem like such a waste to me.)

So anyway, here they are...

Yeah, I couldn't leave it alone, I had to color it. I painted in Orly Fresh, Flirty, and Purple Pleather.
Soooooooo, I am thinking I am going to be doing a couple of classic mani posts. :D yay!!!

Am I blue, Yes, I'm blue...

k, I'm really not blue...but my nails are. To be honest, I was only going to do one hand, but, I loved it so much, I did both. It reminds me of flowing water.
On to the polishes and the pics.

I used Zoya Ibiza, Orly Stone Cold, and Sally Hansen Deep Blue Sea marbled over CC Luminescent (from the foiled collection. I will have to swatch all those sometime. They are so lovely.)

LOTS of pictures today!!!

A slightly altered Behind Closed Doors

I have wanted Deborah Lippmanns Ruby Red Slippers and Across The Universe for as long as I can remember. I found AtU, but I have never been able to find RRS. SO you can imagine my excitement when I found out about WnW Behind Closed Doors...(and then later NYX Dorothy) I love this polish...but it needed something else...so, I frankened...(don't kill me.) I added about 1/4 bottle of BCD and added about 5 drops of OPI Crown Me Already... I LOVE how this turned out...ON TO THE PRETTIES!!!

This is over Sally Hansen Midnight Sky (because everyone does it over black. :))

Classic Jen Nails First nail art EVER!

I am thinking occasionally I am going to throw some Classic Jen Manis in. I have many many pictures. I used to do my nails every night, I enjoy doing my nails everynight, but I have lots and lots of backlogged pics, and sometimes it's nice to wear a mani for more than 24 hours.

I am a nail polish freak from way back. When I was a teenager I LOVED nail polish, and bought lots and lots of it. When I got around mid 20's it just kinda slipped my mind...I would always make sure my nails were painted, though. I did mostly reds and french I remember buying bottle after bottle of Sally Hansen Flirty because that is all I would wear. Well at 33 I picked up my obsession again. This is my first attempt at nail art...it was a slippery downhill skip into madness from there.

WARNING: Some of these classic pictures WILL be ugly.

This is Sinful Colors Dream On and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Brisk Blue. The photo is dated 9/6/10:
