I guess this means you can just go caaaaaaa-raaaaaaazy with your mani. well, I didn't...not so much. I liked it when I first did it, but the more I saw it, the more I hated it. :(

This is Puccilicious, Wham! Pow!, and The Lime Starts Here with BM319 and a random black with BM320. I think I might have liked it better if the black was more opaque. I should have used my konad special polish, but anyone who has used it knows how hard it is to get off of skin. :( I should have taped it off and done it. Oh well. :)

 This was just a really cool picture. I've gotten to where I used my ultra violet light to cure ALL my manicures because it makes seche hard and dry in a matter of a minute (I mean dry enough to wash dishes and do laundry) and it speeds up regular polish drying time to 5 minutes or less. It's pretty awesome. Plus, it's how I activated the GITD  to take the above pic.

Trick or Treat or getting back into blogging

Well HELLO!!!!! I am sorry I've been gone for so long. Life has gotten a little crazy lately!!! I promise I will make it up to you (read: give away coming soon)

So I belong to a couple of facebook groups, One of them is having a Halloween challenge. It's not an everyday kind of thing, it skipped around. I am going to stick to the challenge but just sporatically throw other things into it.:)

I started with Visually Slimming then stamped with KleanColors metallics and accented with KC Metallic Green.

Stampy Sunday 7/1 edition

The theme today was circles and dots.

This is kinda a fail that turned out ok. I think my DRK-B plate is etched a little too deep as everything I try to stamp from it turns out to be blurry.

Doesn't matter cause I liked how it turned out, even though  you can't really tell the dots.

So I started with black, then used DRK-B plate with KleanColors Metallic Green, Metallic Fuschia, Metallic Purple, and Metallic Aqua

Stampy Sunday 6/17 edition!

This is a little late today, but better late than never, right?!?!

Todays theme was stamp over a glitter.

So I thought this would work a little better, it's not a fail, but it's not exactly what I pictured.

I thought Untamed Luxury was more sheer, but it's pretty opaque. I wanted a dirtyish ocean look...which is why you see little bits of brown under the untamed luxury.

So this is CC Untamed Luxury over Orly Buried Alive, stamped first with konad special black, filled in then restamped with special white using MASH 37

The poor little aqua one looks a little stretched. :( it's ok, you can't really tell, especially when I twwwwwiiiiiiiiiirrrrrl it like this... :)

Stampy Sunday 6/10 edition!

The theme is Hot Hot Hot. I took that to mean neon, which means more cell phone pics. :) First off pics of the gradiant...I love gradiants, and I am starting to LOVE neons!!! This is Billie Electric Coral and Electric Purple.

Stampy Sunday 6/3 edition!

WOW, it is June already! this year is flying faster than any others. Lets get down to the mani!!!

First off, I'm going to tell you, the pics are cellphone pics because neons do not photograph well using a regular camera and I am not good at messing with all the setting to get it right, and I don't like to edit pictures to change the color. now with THAT in mind...

The theme this week was a plate ending in 9. This is a sponged gradient of neons using the same technique I used here (Make up Sponge tutorial) using Color Club Get your Lem-on, & The Lime Starts Here, and Billie Electric Coral, Electric Fuschia, Electric Purple, & Blue.

 Now that first picture was taken under a "natural light" bulb, and it is not color accurate. But I LOVE how it dried semi matte. it was not full dull, just semi with a little bit of texture. I wore it like that for a full day before I stamped it.

 Here it is stamped with the new Mash 49 and ChG Frostbite.

This weeks theme is Pet week. I did my pet. I have a betta.

First off, let me just say how much I LOVE watercoloring. It is fun, is an awesome effect, and just plain neat! lets see those pics! This is Lavender Cloud watercolored with Ogre The Top Blue and Whats With the Cattitude

Stampy Sunday 5/13 Mothers Day edition

The theme this week is plates ending in 5. The second place was holo, so I did both. Today is also Mothers Day in the United States, so I worked a mom mani in there too. Seeing as it's floral and all, I figured it would work. :)

So this is a base of Pure Ice Vinyl Remix Magic Basecoat white, covered with 1 coat of GG Light as a Feather, stamped with BM205 for both stamps first layer is Ozotic 515, and then GG Dark Purple 3D holo.

The theme this week is Funky Animals.

This is a base coat of Zoya Arizona, sponged with Rory and Meg. Then stamped with DRK-A and KleanColor ITPurple (one of my favorites for stamping.)

Coastal!!!

I've needed new glasses for a while. The last pair I had were about 5 years old. So, I bit the bullet and just did it. I was not looking forward to spending $300 for 1 pair of glasses.

Well, one of my friends turned me on to Coastal.com. Cheap glasses. Awesome website. I was very skeptical about buying glasses online I want to see what they look like on me BEFORE I buy them. This website allows you to upload pictures of yourself so you can see what they look like on you.

Best part, your first pair is "free". I only say that in quotes because I upgraded my lenses, and got all the protective coatings. Still, I paid $38 for glasses that would have cost me $3-$400 at the optometrist. But I was perusing their clearance section and made another purchase. Again, $65 for glasses that would have cost me $3-$400. 2 pair of glasses for $103!!!

I will definitely be coming to this site more often just when I want to spice up my glasses.

Oh, and because I wanted to... I did my nails to match. :D

Stampy Sunday 4/22 edition!!!

The theme this week is inspired by music. I went for a specific song. The song is Angel Flying Too Close To the Ground by Willie Nelson. It is mine and my boyfriends song. This song makes a horrible day tolerable. I am usually instantly transported when I hear his first words to him asking me to dance. It was a cold January morning, we were going to go on a ride and met in a tiny town to walk around and just take in the sights.

Anyway, on to the pics. My cuticles are looking terrible on my right hand. Oh, and I have gel polish on it to hopefully keep them from peeling. It's been doing pretty good so far, and you can see the growth on them.
