dotting tool art

So this is something new I've been playing with. It's lots and LOTS of dotting with a dotting tool.

I guess you could say it's a bit of a free hand marble?
I don't know how to describe it.

The colors I used are China Glaze Grape, First class Ticket, and GOSH Golden Bronze.

OOOOOOO, net?

This is China Glaze Ruby Deer which is now my goto red. and Orly Flirty.
I painted the base coat, let it dry, painted the second color then while still wet I put some fishnet (tulle) over the top wiggled it slightly then pulled up. I loved the effect.

Monkey See/Monkey Do 6/11 edition!

So this is a little different. My Monkey See/Monkey Do is a take on something someone did in a facebook group, Not a blog post that I pinned.
One of my friends Amanda Nicole did this mani
I wanted to copy it, it looked so awesome...make that ^picture^ big, it truly is beautiful!

Here is my take on it: I used Color Club Space Case topped with Fairy Dust, then Wet n Wild RIP Black Magic again topped with Fairy Dust and then Finger Paints Motley. It's not as cool as Amandas but it worked. :)

This next picture is intentionally blurry, I love the sparkle!!!

Stampy Sunday 6/3 edition!

WOW, it is June already! this year is flying faster than any others. Lets get down to the mani!!!

First off, I'm going to tell you, the pics are cellphone pics because neons do not photograph well using a regular camera and I am not good at messing with all the setting to get it right, and I don't like to edit pictures to change the color. now with THAT in mind...

The theme this week was a plate ending in 9. This is a sponged gradient of neons using the same technique I used here (Make up Sponge tutorial) using Color Club Get your Lem-on, & The Lime Starts Here, and Billie Electric Coral, Electric Fuschia, Electric Purple, & Blue.

Now that first picture was taken under a "natural light" bulb, and it is not color accurate. But I LOVE how it dried semi matte. it was not full dull, just semi with a little bit of texture. I wore it like that for a full day before I stamped it.
Here it is stamped with the new Mash 49 and ChG Frostbite.

Who wants to see a purple holo comparison?!?!?

MMMMMMMMMMMMM, Purple hooooooooolooooooooo ombre.
Thumb to pinky:
Octa-gone wild, Gamer Glam, IDK, Virtual Violet, and LOL

I know we were all disappointed in the Tronicas when they came out. They are indeed a holo. They are a little more scattered than the Kaliedoscope collection. You can see little bits of holo in there... so anyway, 5 purple holos. (and thats not even all the purple holo i have...(I may do a blue one, too. :))

Rock "star" mani

One of the nail groups I belong to on Facebook has a theme Monday. This week is Rockstar. I went heavy emphasis on the stars.

so, lots of pics (because they are all holo.)

I used, OMG, DV8, IDK, GR8, 2NITE, BFF, Revvvolution, and Metallic Fuschia. OH, and Black Hologram striper from Art Club.

On to the pretty...

More Holo!?!?

Because I can't leave well enough alone, and I wanted more holo...

So this is Lets Do It In 3-D, tipped with DV8, lined with LOL, and the flowers are Kleancolor Metallic Fuschia and GR8. and of course since it is a holo, several pictures

Midnight Mission & Sexagon

I never thought I would own ANY from the China Glaze kaleidoscope collection. I am lucky to get some from some swaps!!! If ever I don't know what to wear, I know I can rely on these...

No real art just some neat layering. This is China Glaze Midnight Mission and Sexagon.

Oh, and because it's a holo, and because I am feeling saucy, you get 2 pics today.

mmmmmmmm, holo-y goodness...

Classic Jen Nails Purple & Silver

Another crappy clip show.
I am going to start off by saying Kiko was easy to take off...like super easy, so much easier than any glitter I have ever worn. I LOVE it!

So this (I think) is China Glaze VIII with some white added to make the pink and random silver and some stickers. This one is dated 10/3/10.
This one IS scary! I swear I didn't know what clean up was!!!
