Thanksgiving Mani!!!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I have many things to be thankful for.
I still have both my parents, they are still together, and they love me no matter what.
I have a wonderful boyfriend, whom I love, and who loves me very much.
I have a roof over my head.
I have food to eat.
I have lots of wonderful women that I am proud to call my friends who share in my wacky obsession of makeup, especially nail polish!

So, on to the mani!!! This is Color Club Wild and Willing with a marble of OPI My Private Jet (GASP!!! Yes, I marbled MPJ, don't freak out, it wasn't the ultra holo one. It's the brownish sparkly one.) and Sally Hansen Teeny Greeny Bikini

My favorite is the pointer finger on this hand!

Happy Thanksgiving, Y'all!!!

Classic Mani Funky French

This was right before I decided to start a blog. I used Orly Mineral FX Rock It on one hand and Emberstone on the other, and I got these nailstrips that had skulls on them and I didn't know what to do with them...so, I turned them into a funky french. :D

I really like the way these turned out.

Classic Mani Plaid

So about a month ago http://samariums-swatches.blogspot.com/2011/10/my-guest-post-at-manicured-monkey.html I liked it so much, I did my own version of it. :D
The colors used were all from the Color Club Foiled collection Foil Me Once, Hot Like Lava, and Cold Metal

Sally Hansen nail strips

Since I have been uninspired, I was going to use the incoco strips I got, but I found some Sally Hansen Nail Strips in wild child I forgot I had. (I actually have several different sets of all different kinds of nail strips, I don't know why, I change my polish daily, and the strips just seem like such a waste to me.)

So anyway, here they are...

Yeah, I couldn't leave it alone, I had to color it. I painted in Orly Fresh, Flirty, and Purple Pleather.
Soooooooo, I am thinking I am going to be doing a couple of classic mani posts. :D yay!!!

a holo-y comparison

I did a guest post for my friend Harri @ Trailer Hood Chic on Wednesday and someone asked how the polish I was wearing compared with something else...so I did a comparison. This is all of my silver holos. This is a pic heavy post. I apologize! :) (but not really, IT'S HOLO...)
Grab a towel, and follow me!

These are the polishes I used China Glaze OMG, China Glaze Sexagon, OPI Coronation, and Nicole Imagine If...

1 coat
(ugh, ignore the stained nails.)
2 coats
3 coats
3 coats of OMG, 4 coats of the rest
now comparision pics...

Imagine if has virtually no real holo payoff, Coronation is a brighter silver, with just a touch of a rainbow, Sexagon has incredible scattered rainbow, and OMG is just...yeah...
I hope this helped.

You may now wipe the drool off all your keyboard. :D
