Zoya Sponging!

I loved how this turned out so much I did all 10 fingers. :D

I got the idea after seeing a pink and black eyeshadow look in one of my make up groups.

This is Rory and I sponged Kimber, Carly, and Ibiza  over it.

More Pixie Dust art!!

I love playing with the different textures.

I started off with just a simple white, then sponged London, then Dahlia. I am seriously loving these Pixies Dusts. I have worn them nearly everyday since I got them.

I am totally looking forward to the summer ones. Speaking of, want a preview of the summer pixie dust release? ok, you talked me into it. :D

Oooh, Pixie Dust NAIL ART!!!

Well, Hello!!!

So I was super DUPER excited when I received Pixie Dust to review.
Everyone does swatches, I wanna do Nail ART!!!

First my review. These polishes were SOOOOOO much easier to work with than I thought they would be. They were thin and needed build up, but man, are they ever worth it. The first one I slapped on immediately was Dahlia.

Application: I put on a base coat even though they say not to use one. (Yeah, I'm a rebel...) I did 2 medium coats. They went on like a creme. There was virtually NO dragging, and I did the second coat while the first coat was still semi wet. I DID NOT top coat because I wanted to see how long I could go without the texture driving me nuts. Dry time was SSSSLLLLOOOOWWWW. Only because I use Seche and used to every mani being and being done in 10 minutes. Ten minutes later things were still kinda smooshy. I used it as an excuse to sit and do nothing. "Nope, sorry, I can't, my nails are still wet!!!" ;-)

Review: I wore it for a full WEEK before I experienced minimal tip wear.  Suprisingly, it didn't AT ALL. After I took Dahlia off, I put on Chyna. It also lasted a full week before I experienced minimal tipwear. (again with basecoat and 2 medium coats of polish.)

Removal: It was acutally relatively painless also. Easier to get off than glitter but harder than say just a regular creme polish. The process I found to work the best was to wet the cotton ball put on for about a minute with firm pressure pull off. It all came off in one stroke (except for minimal leftovers around the cuticle.)

Ok, enough of the talky talky, on to the pretty!!!!!
(Pardon the close cropped pics, my cuticles have been awful lately. :-( )

First off Godiva with Dahlia dotted on.

Vespa with a nice line of Ibiza. I LOVED the contrast of the rough/shiny textures!!!

Lastly, London with Holly Shamrocks. Again, with the rough/shiny texture.
